Last updated: September 17, 2024.
The purchase of your travel booking(s) constitutes a contractual agreement between you and Luxe Worldwide Travel LLC DBA “Fairytale Vacation Planners” pursuant to the following Terms & Conditions of Service.
Planning fees
All agency planning fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Living standards
Living standards and practices at destination(s) may differ from those in North America with respect to provisions of utilities, services, and accommodation.
Risks of travel and release
There is no such thing as risk-free travel. We assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of any party not under our control, or any acts of God, unsafe conditions, terrorism, health hazards including pandemics, illnesses, weather hazards, or the suitability for a disabled person of any portion of any trip.
We have no special knowledge of such risks or dangers. For information related to such risks and dangers, we recommend visiting the State Department website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html, click on “Find International travel Information” then click on “Country Information”, and fill in the name of the destination country.
For medical and health information, we recommend going to the Centers for Disease Control website at https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list/ and The World Health Organization website at https://www.who.int/.
It is your personal decision to travel, and you are doing so with full knowledge that risks and dangers exist no matter where or when you are traveling.
Criminal history
If you have ever been convicted of a crime, including but not limited to DUI, you could be denied tourist Visa(s), entry into certain countries, boarding on certain cruise ships, and denied authorization in certain countries to transit through an airport for flight connections based on criminal history.
Your ability to obtain or renew a passport may be impacted as a result of any criminal convictions. We are not authorized or qualified to provide legal advice. If you have ever been convicted of a crime, please contact an attorney for legal advice prior to making any financial commitments for travel.
We assume no liability if you are denied entry, transit, or boarding due to criminal history that results in your financial loss.
Foreign entry rules
You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying all passport, Visa, vaccination, health testing, criminal history, or other entry requirements of your destination and your connecting points, and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s).
Many countries require your passport to be valid for six months or more after your date of entry. Some countries will not admit persons convicted of a crime. Some countries require both parents’ consent for minors to travel.
Financial compensation
If you book travel through our agency, we may receive financial compensation in the form of an agency commission from the travel supplier(s).
Agent for suppliers
Luxe Worldwide Travel LLC DBA Fairytale Vacation Planners (“Fairytale Vacation Planners”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary or confirmation (“Suppliers”).
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds, financial default, or failure to honor future trip credits.
We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers and no liability for recommending a trip credit in lieu of a refund.
Theme park tickets
All theme park ticket sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Honeymooners
If you are traveling on your honeymoon, please travel with a copy of your marriage license and wedding invitation in order to be eligible for exclusive honeymoon benefits at your destination(s).
Credit card authorization
We do not recommend the use of a debit card for any travel purchase(s).
We strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.
By signing the credit card authorization, you hereby expressly authorize Luxe Worldwide Travel LLC DBA Fairytale Vacation Planners to use the approved credit card(s) to collect our in-house travel planning fees, and to secure travel services on your behalf with the various Suppliers associated with your itinerary.
If the Suppliers do not provide the services, your only recourse would be against the Suppliers, and you agree not to initiate a chargeback against us.
Baggage fees
Additional fees for baggage may apply. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding checked baggage and carry-on baggage policies.
Seat assignments
Additional fees for seat assignments may apply. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding seat assignment policies.
Hotel and airline rewards
We are unable to guarantee that you will earn hotel and airline rewards for travel booked through our agency. We are unable to redeem hotel and airline rewards program points for you.
Cancellation
Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and cancelled bookings will incur charges.
These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking that you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for that fee or charge.
Deposit and final payment
You will be required to pay a minimum deposit when booking. Most deposits are non-refundable.
Final payment requirements will be provided to you at the time of booking and vary based on the Supplier.
Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking. Accepted form(s) of payment will vary based on the Supplier and this information will be provided to you prior to booking.
Price drops
If a Supplier drops the price of a trip after booking, we will try to assist you with rebooking if the Supplier allows it, and a fee may apply. We do not guarantee any refunds or successful rebooking.
Price increases
Travel arrangements involving airline and cruise components are subject to Suppliers’ supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the supplier and/or government, even after you have completed your purchase.
You hereby consent to any such price increases and authorize your credit or debit card to be used for them.
Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms.
Insurance
For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation/interruption, and travel accident/illness insurance.
Please note that, unless you purchase a CFAR – CANCEL FOR ANY REASON policy, most policies have a specific clause stating they do not cover epidemics, pandemics, and acts of war especially when travel warnings are in place.
No representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.
You agree to hold us harmless for your election not to purchase travel insurance or for any denial of claim by travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 or any other claim under the policy.
We require that you sign an “offer of insurance” form prior to making or finalizing any travel arrangements for you.
Additional fees
Additional taxes and surcharges that cannot be pre-collected may be charged locally by car rental agencies, hotels or other suppliers. Most lodging properties and vehicle rental/leasing companies require a credit card imprint at check-in.
Passports
All individuals departing from the United States of America must be in possession of a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended travel time.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination.
You are responsible for confirming with the United States Department of State or the representative government agency of the country to which you are traveling to confirm the requirements for Visas and/or other requirements for admission to your destination.
Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
REAL ID
Beginning May 7, 2025: if you plan to use your state-issued ID or license to fly domestically within the United States, it is your responsibility to make sure it is REAL ID compliant. If you are not sure if your ID complies, please check with our local state department of motor vehicles, or visit https://www.tsa.gov/real-id
Travel documents
Travel documents include, without limitation, airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider.
Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions such as, but not limited to, being non-refundable, non-date-changeable, and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees.
Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled.
Any errors in names, dates, and timings may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled. Any errors in names, dates, and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if we are not advised at the time of booking.
Health and special requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements, health advisories, or health travel restrictions applicable to your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.
Luxe Worldwide Travel LLC DBA Fairytale Vacation Planners is not responsible for providing you with this information.
Travel carriers and local authorities at travel destinations may require specific testing and vaccinations prior to boarding and/or upon arrival at your destination, including, but not limited to, a temperature check as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
You may be denied entry onto your carrier and/or entry upon arrival at your destination or be required to self-quarantine at your destination and upon your return to the United States. You must comply with local government regulations.
Additional costs are your responsibility. Check with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention for current information prior to and during your travel: https://www.cdc.gov/
Flight confirmation
We strongly suggest that all travelers reconfirm exact flight times with the carrier prior to departure. Air travelers should check in at least 3 hours prior to departure time for domestic flights, and 4 hours for international flights.
You should plan to report to the gate at least 60 minutes prior to departure time. Failure to comply may result in the loss of the seat to another passenger.
